Bernard BOUNAN

Bernard Bounan was born on May 25, 1941 in the 14th district of Paris.
His family was of Sephardic Jewish origin. His father, Georges Bounan, was born on June 13, 1912 in Oran, Algeria. He was arrested on October 2, 1943 at his home at 6 rue Jules Dumien in the 20^th district of Paris, where he lived with his son. Georges Bounan was deported in convoy 62.
Bernard Bounan was surely placed in the UGIF Center (General Union of the Israelites of France) at 67 rue Edouard Nortier in Neuilly-sur-Seine soon after his father’s arrest. The boy was  himself rounded up on July 21, 1944 along with sixteen other children in the Center. He was deported in convoy 77 at the age of three.[:pl]

Bernard Bounan urodził się 25 maja 1941 roku w czternastej dzielnicy Paryża.
Pochodzi z rodziny serfardyjskiej. Jego ojciec, Georges Bounan, urodzony 13 czerwca 1912 roku w Oran w Algerii, został zatrzymany 2 października 1943 roku. Mieszkał wtedy na ulicy Jules Dumien 6 w dwudziestej dzielnicy Paryża ze swoim synem. Georges Bounan jest na liście deportowanych w konwoju 62.
Bernard Bounan, pewnie niedługo po aresztowaniu ojca, został umieszczony w centrum UGIF („Union générale des israélites de France” tj. „Unia Generalna Izraelitów we Francji”) na ulicy Edouard Nortier 67 w Neuilly-Sur-Seine. 21 lipca 1944 roku Bernard Bounan wraz z szesnaściorgiem innych dzieci z centrum był aresztowany , a następnie deportowany w Konwoju 77 w wieku trzech lat.
